Seven Generations in Hernando County

Frog Feet Farm has been planting, harvesting, and serving Brooksville and Spring Hill families for seven generations — rooted in the land since before cars came to these roads.

Frog Feet Farm was built right here in Hernando County, and our roots run deep in Brooksville and Spring Hill. What started as a small family effort seven generations ago — back when neighbors traveled these dirt roads on foot and horseback, long before cars changed how the world moved — has grown into a way of life centered on honest food, hard work, and neighbors we know by name.

Each generation has added something to the farm while honoring what came before. The earliest generations taught us discipline and stewardship on land farmed by hand and ox. Later generations modernized methods while keeping values intact — care for the soil, care for the animals, never cut corners. Today, seven generations deep, we are carrying that legacy forward with the same integrity, adapting to serve what our community needs while remembering where we came from.

Our days still follow the same rhythm: early mornings in the field, careful harvests, and direct service to families across Brooksville and Spring Hill. We are proud that many customers have shopped with us for years, and some now bring their own kids to pickup days.

This farm has always been local and family-run. Seven generations in, through droughts and harvests, through the horse-and-buggy era into the modern age, our mission remains simple: grow and raise food with integrity, treat people right, and keep serving Hernando County families with products we would proudly put on our own table — the same way our ancestors did.
